The National Rifle Association (NRA) and its law-abiding members have come under tremendous fire from the Main Stream Media (MSM), receiving the blame for a handful of shootings across America.
The NRA has had to deal not just with the hostility of the MSM and its followers, but the fallout from weak-kneed corporations dropping their sponsorship deals.
In the wake of all this negativity directed at gun-owners in general and the NRA in particular, they have decided to call on supporters of the 2nd Amendment and issue a sign-up challenge.
Bearing Arms announced the NRA’s 100k Challenge:
“The National Rifle Association proudly launched the inaugural NRA 100K Challenge on April 11, 2018, which aims to sign up 100,000 NRA members within 100 days! The challenge is led by an actionable social media presence of our dedicated firearm manufacturers, corporate partners and Second Amendment supporters.”
While it is a very ambitious challenge, the NRA hopes 2nd Amendment supporters will stand up for the Constitution and thumb their noses at the media and their left-wing allies.
These corporations sheepishly followed the MSM narrative in demonizing NRA members and cutting ties. Many of them have seen quick and fierce backlash for dropping NRA membership benefits and even boycotts from gun rights supporters.
