But when you think about it, it sounds a bit ridiculous. Allowed? 18-year-olds “allowed” to own guns in Louisiana? Aren’t 18-year-olds adults, or has that changed? If my memory serves me correctly, the framers of the Constitution armed 17-year-olds to defend this idea of freedom that makes up our nation.
