A California appellate ruling, in a case from Berkeley, has implications that go far beyond upholding one state gun law.

The ruling, in a case from Berkeley, has implications that go far beyond upholding one state gun law.
It contrasts with decisions striking down gun laws since the nation’s high court ruled in 2022 that any government restriction on firearms must be “consistent with this nation’s historical tradition of firearms regulation,” dating back to the nation’s founding.
