InvestigatorWayneDavidoftheDistrict’sMetropolitanPoliceDepartmentdiedWednesday,MPDExecutiveAssistantChiefJeffCarrollsaidoutsideMedStarWashingtonHospitalCenter,whereDavidwastreatedbeforesuccumbingtohisinjuries.
“It’swithaveryheavyheartthatIannouncethatInvestigatorWayneDavid,whowasassignedtoourViolentCrimesSuppressionDivision,didpassawaythiseveninghereatthehospital,”Carrollsaid.
