White House has no interest in raising gun buying age

The Florida legislature recently rushed through new bills raising the minimum age from purchasing a firearm from 18 to 21. While the gun control debate rages on in America, the White House is having no part of changing the national age to purchase firearms.

As some lawmakers push for radical and drastic changes the Trump administration is taking a different path.

From Yahoo:

“The White House on Sunday pledged to help states pay for firearms training for teachers and reiterated its call to improve the background check system as part of a new plan to prevent school shootings. The plan does not include a push to increase the minimum age for purchasing assault weapons to 21.”

As states look at their own laws or make drastic rushed changes like Florida, its good to know the White House for now is standing by the second amendment
