Monday was an intense day for a cab driver in Terre Haute, Indiana.
After what must have seemed like a perfectly ordinary cab ride, the young man attempted to rob the driver.
Daivionne Young pulled a gun on him, but he was prepared.
Terre Haute Police Public Information Officer Ryan Adamson said, “The cab driver pulled out a gun and shot the suspect. Suspect took off. He was located by our uniform division, is in custody, he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital.”
We’re glad no-one was seriously hurt, but we’re more glad the innocent cab driver was able to protect himself from a life-threatening criminal.
