Mass shooting: we shouldn’t make murderers famous, but we need to know the truth.

everyday heroes - self-defense

There’s no denying that the media blows up every time a mass shooting occurs. The public clamors for every bit of information on the shooter(s) they can get. “Journalists” debate their motives and intentions endlessly. Yet, it doesn’t result in any further understanding. It only serves to frighten the public, obscure the truth and make another killer infamous.

While this gratuitous scare-mongering and profiteering off tragedy sickens us, the fact remains that we do need to know some of the facts. Without them, the anti-gun lobbyist and left-wing media machine just have more fuel for their propaganda machine.

As David Cordea of Ammoland points out, it is all too easy for the leftist radicals to use these tragedies to their advantage.

In response to the recent New Zealand shooting, Cordea writes:

If all the public can learn is what is decided by the government and establishment press to tell them, the meme that the murderer was a Trump-supporting conservative would go unchallenged. We’d have no way to learn anything about the killer that contradicts their “right-wing’ narrative, such as:

“I mostly agree with Sir Oswald Mosley’s views and consider myself an Eco-fascist by nature. The nation with the closest political and social values to my own is the People’s Republic of China.”

But don’t expect to see a “Commie Killer Exploits Gun-Free Zone for Bloodbath” headline on CNN.

No, we don’t want to make these people famous, but we can’t let the media hide the truth.

There’s no winning in letting the liberal media and their massive online presence spread their false narratives. We have to do our duty, as Americans, to share the truth. To spread facts instead of falsehood.  If we don’t know the truth, the gun grabbers will have their way. Our freedoms will be limited and nothing will get solved.

Responsible gun owners save lives. We can’t let them turn this into another Anti-Trump media frenzy.
