On September 2, 2024 (Labor Day), a maniac entered a commuter train in the Chicago area at approximately 5:27 AM. The killer, whose name is being protected for his or her own privacy, shot and killed four people who were asleep on the train that morning. This, according to the Forest Park Police Dept.
The killing appears to have had no motive, and Forest Park Deputy Chief Chris Chin said, “This appears to be an isolated incident on this unfortunate day.”
