Abigail Spanberger (D.) wants her party to broaden its pending sales and carry ban to include many more firearms. On Monday, the Virginia Governor sent dozens of bills back to the Democratically-controlled state house with recommendations for changes. Among those were SB749 and HB217, which ban the sale of “assault firearms” and ammunition magazines that can hold more than 15 rounds.
